TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

A market leading organisation in London have partnered with Amber Resourcing to find a Technical Architect.

The digital ambition is that by 2033, we will have radically reformed all of the client's services by making them easy to use and widely available online, reaching more people and delivering more of their cultural programme digitally.

The Technical Architect will lead technical design and architecture across the client's platform, ensuring that it is fit for purpose, well aligned with evolving business needs, and is consistently implemented by development teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical design and architecture vision for the client's platform.
• Working with product managers and other senior colleagues to fully understand requirements in context, translating these into technical architectures and design at an appropriate level of detail.
• Undertaking structured analysis of technical issues, translating this analysis into technical designs that describe a solution and then actively iterate on these designs with development teams.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Extensive commercial experience designing technical architectures on both public cloud and private hosting infrastructure.
• Experience of designing and building API-driven architectures with a focus on clear interfaces between components.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology patterns to a wide variety of stakeholders and colleagues.
• Experience of applying governance frameworks to technology projects to manage risk and enhance quality.
