I am exclusively partnered with a renowned manufacturer in Hertfordshire, who are on the hunt for a Technical Architect.

The successful person will report into the Senior Solutions Architect and the Head of EA.

THE ROLE:

As a Technical Architect specialising in Integration, Cloud, Application, and MACH Architecture, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions across the client's digital ecosystem. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of various systems, leverage the potential of cloud technologies, and adopt a modern, agile, and composable approach through MACH architecture principles.

The Technical Architect will lead in the delivery of high-quality digital solutions and detailed technical designs and be able to effectively align Business, Data, Integration, Security, Application, and underlying Technology to implement solutions.

The role will involve working closely with analysts, developers, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver viable, high-quality designs to the development and engineering teams.

The role contributes strongly to the definition of the digital strategy, architecture vision, and the technology roadmap.

THE PERSON:

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect, specifically working with Azure-based solutions, MACH Architecture, and API development.
• Preferable business domain experience in Digital Commerce: B2C, B2B, B2B2C, D2C, covering multi-channel & ecommerce (websites, mobile aps, payment systems) and how this aligns to the overall business strategy, transformation, and technology direction to define the future state.
• Practical experience in an architecture position with deep technical knowledge of online digital applications in CMS, e-Commerce, CRM and mobile applications.
• Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in architectural designs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Able to communicate work and ideas to senior business stakeholders, product and platform teams. Ability to collaborate and facilitate workshops to drive engagement and communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Knowledge of Application Development frameworks and assurance approaches (Front and Back end)
• Solid understanding of cloud-native development practices and microservices architecture.
