The Company - Senior Software Engineer (.Net)

My client are building a new Web3 social media project that gives people a platform to ask questions and engage on world topics, debate on topics, and through that form a community. The plan is for it to become a social networking platform that is sort of a mix between Quora and Twitter.

Most of the senior team are ex-TikTok and from largely accredited social media backgrounds with lots of connections.

Having recently placed the Director of UX/UI and CTO, they are both now building their tech and design teams which we are helping with.

The current team is about 100 members in outside the UK and about 10 in the UK. The company plans to expand significantly this year. They are establishing and scaling their UK base for the first time so this is a really exciting time to join a fast growth business.

They are looking for highly skilled Senior .Net Developers to help build the back-end project.

The Skills Needed - Senior .Net Engineer

Essential
• C#, .Net Core / .Net 6/7
• API development
• Object-Oriented Design, SOLID development techniques and design patterns
• MongoDB or similar like CosmosDB
• Entity Framework Core, Relational database design, SQL Server Development, SQL Stored procedures, Writing unit and integration tests, Unit Test Frameworks and Tools (Nunit, Moq)
• A good working knowledge of some of the following technologies: Version Control tools and workflows (GIT), CI/CD pipelines within Azure Devops, Build and deployment automation, Cloud Technologies (Azure), Microservices.
• You have experience of architecting, designing and implementing cloud based SaaS solutions, ideally with Azure but AWS is also fine
• Experience developing highly available, scalable systems
• You have experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker and a good understanding of modern microservices
